I haven't been able to keep you guys/gals up to date with the latest Disney News/MyMagic+ because work has been a conflicting schedule due to it being peak season. Here is one latest news that i wanted to share with you all, seems as Disney is testing out fastpass+ for non resort guest for those who decided to stay off site from the Disney Resorts. Fastpass+ is being tested right now as the first day at Disney's Animal Kingdom which that leads to Disney removing the legacy/original fastpasses and upgrading to the new fastpass+ Kiosk around the park. I believe with this test guest are only able to reserve 3 attractions and thats upon arrival to the park. Once reserving them you can also make changes of your times through your smartphone via my disney experience app.
Starting November 17, 2013 Disney Park Cast-Members will be outside of Park Entrance making sure Guest have their Magic Bands, Or the second option their Key To The World Card to gain access to extra magic hours at any Disney World Park. Once the guest are cleared for EMH eligibility then they will be directed to enter the parks.
It's been a while since i have blogged about some news but here is one that has been official and its that Disney's Pop Century resort will now only be issuing Magic Bands and no Key To The World Card. Seems like Pop Century is the first to step up and make Magic Bands the Default option at a Disney Resort.
It has been quite some time since i have blogged, i have been very busy with work. In between my conflicting schedule i was able to watch Escape from Tomorrow one of the most controversial movies filmed without the permission of the company Walt Disney World, The Producer bounced around both Walt Disney World,Disneyland to be under the radar of the Security that surrounds the parks. Note that every other guest in the background are not paid extra's they are regular Park Guest who just happened to be there while they went scene by scene recording with regular video cameras even using ipads to act as they were just shooting their Disney Vacation just as any other Park Guest. Pretty much the story that the producer is trying to tell by filming this movie inside Disney World is that it's not the most magical place on her when you have Drunk Adults stalking young girls throughout the park families getting Divorced because of the nature having too many arguments while on vacation in the most magical place on earth. The Movie opens up in a scene where they are seen riding Big Thunder while everything seems to be looking very joyful enjoying their attraction there is a guest is gets killed while on the ride, which its claiming even being at the most happiest place you can still end up getting hurt or tragedy still can occur. Not to give up too much information on this film which so many give bad rep, but when you actually watch it, the movie becomes more interesting with what they are trying to prove. The movie is about a man who is not liking where is life is headed but also who really hasn't grown up yet. He wants to live in Fantasy forever, but unlike Peter Pan. He must grow up and face the harsh reality to save his family. Because of his delusional of a perfect life, represented by Disney World his family has been put in a position full of consequences throughout the movie.
Who is ready for their favorite Disney toys as they return with a all new Halloween special Toy Story of Terror, This Wednesday at 8pm eastern and pacific time on abc family. I will be missing out on this but i will be able to watch the re run right after work. Can't wait to see this Halloween Special since Toy Story has always been my all time favorite movie i can quote every single scene of it.
The story finds the toys and their new owner taking a trip, only to have car trouble force them to spend the night in a roadside motel. Yet when one of their number disappears, they’re treated to a Mwa-ha-ha lesson in the tropes of horror movies from Mr. Pricklepants (Timothy Dalton, again riotous), before they begin to realize toys are going missing for a nefarious reason. Tom Staggs says, "Guests will encounter awe-inspiring floating mountains and wander through a nighttime jungle of bioluminescent plants that are alive with light and sound. Guests will also discover what it feels like to soar into the sky riding a Banshee."
This is the first time that any details of the ride experience have been officially mentioned. Along with the simulator based flight attraction, concept art also shows a boat ride. Also confirmed is that AVATAR will be located in the area currently occupied by Camp Minnie-Mickey, and the area will be expanded beyond that original space. Tom Staggs said Disney will be "adding all-new entertainment experiences, including a new nighttime spectacular where live music, floating lanterns, water screens and swirling animal imagery all combine to bring a show to Discovery River that will delight our guests and truly cap off their day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The park will introduce more nighttime entertainment as well, including live performers on Discovery Island and a new nighttime version of the Kilimanjaro Safaris."
